ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT MANAGER: Tulsa, OK Requisition Number: 09-0136 The Tulsa office is looking for an Environmental Project Manager to join their team. This position will primarily entail performing project management roles and responsibilities on upstream oil & gas environmental projects for a major petrochemical client. They will be responsible for maintaining client satisfaction, business development (new/existing clients), technical excellence, resource management and effective billing. Handles small to medium sized projects of up to $2 million in project gross revenues. Requirements: * 5-7 years of related experience * Experience with Oklahoma Corporation Commission and Oklahoma Department of Environment regulations and regulators are required. * The candidate should have experience with major petroleum company environmental investigation, monitoring, remediation and regulatory compliance projects. * Proven experience on major petroleum company environmental remediation projects and able to work successfully with minimal supervision or as a member of a project team. * Training in Loss Prevention System (LPS) behavior based safety system is required. * Will oversee all duties involved with managing a portfolio of cases * Will oversee client communications, work scope development, financial case management and high-level technical problem solving and recommendations * Will oversee the development of, and review of, financial and technical aspects of work created by support staff * Will serve as the main project liaison for interdisciplinary groups and for the client * Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be experienced in the use of personal computers * Certifications or registrations as mandated by profession. Education: Bachelor of Science, Engineering, geology or related technical field required.
