Description:
The Dallas/Forth Worth, TX office of Kleinfelder has an immediate opening for an mid-level Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This position will work on a variety of projects in the commercial, industrial, government, institutional and transportation markets. This Engineer will prepare designs, reports and calculations on complex projects in the commercial, industrial, transportation, and energy sectors. They will perform and develop scope of work for field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and independent analysis. Will conduct field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support under supervision. Coordinates small projects with direct review and interaction by senior operations/technical staff. Provides training for entry level technicians and professional staff as needed.
Requirements:
4 - 8 years civil/geotechnical engineering experience required; or 2 years related experience with MS
Certifications or registrations as appropriate. TX PE preferred or the ability to obtain within 3 months
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Education: Bachelors degree in civil engineering with geotechnical emphasis required. MS in geotechnical engineering preferred.
