Job Description: Senior Water & Wastewater Engineer

This is a great opportunity for an Senior Engineer to work with a rapidly growing, highly successful organization. This person will manage engineering projects and professional staff, providing direction for our expanding municipal water and wastewater services throughout the Northwest. Job Duties will include the following: Project management, design activities, cost estimating, report generation, and other related engineering tasks. Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administration functions of assigned projects. Acts as the company representative with the client and markets and secures additional work with the client. Job Requirements for this position include the following: á BS or MS in Civil Engineering with 15 to 20 years of related design experience in water and wastewater projects. á The candidate should exhibit exceptional technical, project management and client management experience. á Project management and design experience in the development of plans, specifications and cost estimates for wastewater pump stations and treatment plants. á Oregon/Washington PE registration or ability to obtain such in short order is required. á Candidate should be experienced with project scheduling, cost control, progress reporting, resource management and planning, and management of contracts. á Must have excellent technical writing and communication skills as well as being independent and resourceful á 15+ years of related consulting experience á 10+ years of related business development á 10+ years of water and wastewater project management experience á Proven leadership skills with at least 5 years of engineering staff management experience.
