We are searching for a Business Developer/Project Manager who will be primarily responsible for establishing a new office in the Scranton, PA area. The ideal candidate will have responsibilities of developing, managing and performing projects for Marcellus Shale gas exploration, production and pipeline companies working in the Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) area of central, north central and northeastern Pennsylvania. Marcellus Shale operations occurring in the state of New York will also be an area of focus.
The successful candidate will work with a Tetra Tech Regional Manager, in cooperation with other Tetra Tech offices, to develop and implement business development strategies; position for bidding opportunities; and prepare proposals, qualification statements, and develop and give oral presentations. It is also expected that this position will serve as project manager and technical lead.
Job Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelors Degree in any of the multi-disciplined Environmental Sciences, Engineering or Geologic Sciences. An advanced degree is desirable. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in relevant project management, business development and technical assignments and responsibilities. Recent experience working with Marcellus Play exploration, production and pipeline companies in the SRBC is required. Desired technical experience areas include: water supply, wastewater treatment and disposal, all phases of permitting and other relevant activities related to supporting natural gas exploration, development and transport operations. Candidate must have the relevant technical and management skills to successfully manage and perform the type of projects described above. PE or PG is preferred.
