The person hired for this position will be responsible for design, analysis and project management of Heavy Civil Works Projects including multipurpose dams, levees, floodwalls, natural channel design, storm water systems, navigation locks and dams, and environmental restoration. Also responsible for client management and maintaining existing relationships with Federal clients. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Reviews progress with management. Plans and assigns personnel for given projects or tasks.
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field plus minimum 10 years professional experience in civil engineering design, analysis and project management. Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers standards and software is required. Some of these include SPECSINTACT, MCACES, MicroStation, and Tri-Services CADD Standards. Experience in engineering and PE license preferred.
Must have valid driver's license and good driving record, with ability to operate a 2wd and 4wd vehicles. Previous field experience and a willingness to travel within the US highly desirable.
