Our Pittsburgh, PA office is seeking a Geoscientist to provide technical support to projects and proposals, primarily in the areas related to geology, hydrogeology, fieldwork, and data interpretation/presentation.
The essential duties of this position will also include expanding the department's capabilities to perform hydro geologic investigations and remediation projects and assume a supporting technical role in these projects. The successful candidate will assist in the development of proposals and perform field testing, sampling and investigation work.
Job Requirements:
We are searching for someone who holds a Bachelors Degree in a Geosciences related field. A Masters Degree is preferred. Successful candidate will have 2-5 years of related experience and/or training and must be capable of assuming limited responsibility for the tasks/projects assigned. We require general computer, word processing and spreadsheet capabilities. We prefer the candidate to have the knowledge and experience in computer-based, geosciences-related, data evaluation software and/or groundwater flow/contaminant transport modeling.
