We have assisted hundreds of energy clients with federal permitting, environmental consulting, due diligence, and NEPA compliance issues, and understand the regulatory environment. Our Wind Program is currently seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Seller Doer for our Minneapolis, MN office. The selected individual will assist with regional, national, and/or international business development activities, develop client targets and complete capture plans for wind energy work, take a lead role in implementing these plans, and coordinate the development of proposals, marketing materials, and project submittals for new and existing clients. The individual will also be responsible for managing individual projects and/or major contracts; providing technical input for project tasks; applying the proven company work processes to projects; managing the financial, change, and cash management procedures to projects; ensuring client satisfaction; and serving as mentors to others. The successful candidate will provide knowledge and expertise in the following areas, at a minimum: geologic/hydrogeologic resources, biological resources-specific baseline studies, environmental impact analysis, and land use-related mitigation design and monitoring and evaluation planning; land resource management planning and regulatory compliance/permitting processes and documentation; client agency interface or multi-agency coordination/negotiation and public involvement and outreach; and proposal development, project/technical management, senior review and team competency development and client relationship management. Qualifications: Master's or higher degree in applicable field (geology, biology, chemistry, ecosystem management, natural resources management/planning, or a closely related discipline); 10 or more years of progressively responsible professional experience related to natural/biological resources management and environmental/land use planning; 4 or more years of direct experience with NEPA compliance projects. Preferred candidate will possess recent contacts in local and regional area to facilitate sales growth in MN and Midwest. Demonstrated experience and technical proficiency in the following areas: natural/biological resources assessment (including special-status species and terrestrial, aquatic and wetland habitats), land use related environmental impact analysis and mitigation/monitoring plans, land/resource management and habitat conservation plans, and public outreach; NEPA process and documentation; and project development and technical management (design and implementation baseline surveys, data analysis and interpretations, environmental evaluation procedure and reporting).
