Job Description:
Tetra Tech, Inc. seeks a senior manager to expand Tt's environmental consulting practice in support of the oil and gas industry from our Houston, TX, office. Employee will be expected to develop within 1 year a sustainable, profitable practice with $5M in annual revenues and a team of 8-12 professionals working within the established framework of Tt's Oil and Gas Initiative. Employee must be experienced in identifying, developing, and managing environmental projects associated with the engineering, designing, permitting, and constructing of major energy projects, including onshore and offshore oil and gas pipelines, compressor stations, LNG receiving terminals, and cogeneration facilities. Employee must have a strong knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements including FERC Certificate applications, USACE Section 404 and Section 10 permit applications, USFWS endangered species consultation, and USEPA and state-delegated water quality and air quality permit applications. Other relevant experience would include biological surveys, due diligence surveys, subsurface investigations and remediation, and wetlands restoration and creation.
Job Requirements:
BS degree in biological, environmental or related field preferred with at least 20 years of progressive managerial and business development experience in a environmental consulting in support of energy projects. Excellent writing and communication skills required. Must be computer literate and have knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Significant prior consulting or agency experience required.
