Job Description:
The Tetra Tech Infrastructure Services Group, which offers a wide range of services to its clients including specialization in water/wastewater, transportation, and site development construction management, has an immediate and exciting opportunity for an Transportation Engineer to join us in our Irvine location. Engineer will be responsible for project plans, calculations, specifications and construction cost estimates for a myriad of projects. The Transportation Engineer will have project management, responsibility for providing work direction and mentoring to junior engineers. Client contact will be an essential part of this position
Experience Requirements:
Seeking candidates with 5 years experience/PE preferred. In addition, must have technical knowledge of preparation bid documents and estimates. ,
Skills Requirements:
The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work well with others and good computer skills. Experience with Excel, Word and AutoCad software required.
Education Requirements:
A BS in Engineering and a Professional Engineer's License (Registered P.E.) in California State or ability to obtain in short period of time is required.
