Senior Structural/Deputy Department Manager
Candidate must be fully competent in all conventional aspects of structural engineering, including experience with locks, dams, flood control and heavy civil projects, and be capable of planning and conducting tasks requiring independent judgment in the evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures. Candidate will participate in large projects; may plan, schedule, coordinate and oversee the work of engineers and CADD designers and will lead the technical design effort and management of large design projects. Candidate must be able to prepare/manage proposal efforts, budgets, assist in marketing efforts and must possess strong communication skills to work directly with clients.
Job Requirements:
BSCE
Licensed Professional Engineer desired
10 plus years experience
Demonstrated experience working independently and within a group on a large project (>$50 million construction cost) with tight schedule and budget.
Heavy civil experience
