Job Description:

The candidate will be primarily responsible for developing, managing and performing projects for the US Army Research Development and Engineering Command headquartered at the Edgewood Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland and other tenant organizations including the Chemical Materials Agency, Edgewood Biological Chemical Center, APG Garrison, and establishing a new office in the Edgewood/APG Area. This position will also support the development of new business for missions relocating to APG as part of BRAC.

In cooperation with other Tetra Tech offices, the candidate will develop and implement business development strategies; position for bidding opportunities; and prepare proposals, qualification statements, and develop and give oral presentations. The candidate is also expected to serve as a program manager and technical lead, and, therefore, must have the relevant technical and management skills to successfully manage and perform the type of projects described above.

Job Requirements:

This position requires a Masters Degree in any of the multi-disciplined Environmental Sciences or Engineering. The successful candidate must have 10 or more years experience in relevant project management, business development and technical assignments and responsibilities. Recent experience working with the US Army and the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) community and other DOD organizations is required. Desired technical experience areas include: environmental compliance, natural resources, P2/sustainability, environmental IT and R&D. Current security clearance or ability to obtain is required. We are searching for someone with a high level of written and oral communication skills along with the ability to discuss relevant technical topics. Computer skills must include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must possess the ability to work and collaborate with employees at all levels and disciplines.
