Tetra Tech NUS, Inc. a nationwide provider of environmental, engineering, and training services, is seeking a junior to mid-level Environmental Engineer to support projects from the Cincinnati, Ohio office. The Environmental Engineer will have responsibilities that include providing technical support related to engineering, environmental and hazardous waste projects including investigations, assessments, studies, designs, and construction-phase services. Responsibilities may also include conducting training and exercises for the USEPA and other agencies for environmental sampling, remediation technology, environmental response and other areas.

In addition, the successful candidate will also hold such responsibilities as: Assisting in the preparation of work plans, technical reports, cost estimates, schedules, and other project documents; performing background research and information gathering; supporting environmental field work including sampling, IDW management, construction monitoring, and related tasks, and prepare associated documentation; and, preparing engineering reports, cost estimates, specifications, construction schedules, and designs for hazardous waste, wastewater, solid waste, and other projects.

Job Requirements:

We require a Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field. The successful candidate with have or be on track to obtain their PE license. A minimum of three years of relevant experience in environmental investigation, design and/or construction is required. Ideal candidates will have the ability to prioritize multiple activities, writing skills including the ability to read and assimilate technical and scientific information and public speaking ability and the capability to teach technical courses.

The Environmental Engineer is expected to travel approximately 25% - 30%.
