Our Pittsburgh, PA office is searching for a Senior Project/Program Manager to provide technical, project, and program management support to various Tetra Tech NUS offices. This position reports to the Army Marker Sector Lead in Pittsburgh, PA. Primary activities will be to develop projects and opportunities with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as well as other Department of Defense (DoD), Federal, State, and local clients. The successful candidate will provide support to on-going projects and assist in identifying and developing new projects related to environmental, engineering, or support. In addition, the Senior Project/Program Manager will plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate detailed phases of technical work of a complex scope. The ideal candidate must be able to function with little direction to meet project goals and take conceptual direction for project tasks and developed detail plans to complete task.

Job Requirements:

We require a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science, or a Technical area. An advanced degree is preferred. Successful candidate will have a minimum of fifteen years of related experience. Must have experience providing strong technical direction/support for DoD projects and experience in interfacing with state and local agencies. The candidate must also have experience as a seller/doer and be capable of marketing new and existing clients.

Candidates should have a broad knowledge of DoD contract requirements and possess knowledge to successfully perform activities associated with the Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) as well as engineering and environmental projects for the DoD including identifying potential clients, marketing clients for work, identifying proposal opportunities and preparing proposals, performing project planning, and interfacing with state and local agencies.
