Job Description:
Tetra Tech is a multi-disciplinary firm of consulting environmental scientists and engineers with offices throughout the United States. We are seeking a Senior Civil\Chemical\Environmental Engineer to join our Boulder office and become an integral member of our team.
Responsibilities:
Work includes engineering design and analysis, writing technical reports, overseeing the preparation of design/bid packages for construction, and managing construction oversight services. Responsible for project management, understanding project profitability, meeting project schedules, budgets and quality objectives. The candidate will identify and develop private and public clients in their core competency areas. The individual candidate should be able to fluently communicate to clients and present technical information. The candidate must also have the ability to conduct client/business development and prepare proposals to support base line workload required for the office. Work will include managing design teams and developing junior staff. Travel up to 25% of the time will be required.
Experience:
A minimum 10 years experience in civil, chemical or environmental engineering related to hydraulic and hydrology, process water treatment, civil infrastructure, or geotechnical engineering. Must have a valid Colorado P.E. license or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
