Engineering Branch Manager. Responsibilities of the position include marketing and business development, technical, managerial and administrative duties for developing a new office. The successful candidate will ideally come from Wilmington, DE/South Jersey/greater Philadelphia or surrounding areas, be a self-starter with established local contacts, have strong marketing/business development skills and be responsible for client development. Candidates will have a technical background as a geotechnical engineer [strongly preferred] or environmental manager, have a 'roll-up' your sleeve mentality to get things done, and be a team builder with the ability to both bring in and do the work. A Professional Engineers license is a must for this position; or the ability to obtain local licensure within three months. An advanced degree is highly preferred. * Qualifications: * ¥ BSCE/MSCE with a geotechnical engineering preference. * ¥ Strong marketing and business development abilities. * ¥ 10+ years of technical and managerial experience. * ¥ Professional Engineer license. * ¥ Proven successful P&L responsibility. * ¥ Strong leadership skills. * ¥ Excellent decision making skills. * ¥ Team player - embraces team building. * ¥ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
