Environmental Department Manager. Responsibilities: will be involved with environmental site assessments, wetland delineations, groundwater and soil investigations, risk assessments, hydrogeologic studies, remediation system design, industrial hygiene services (including asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor air quality assessments, and health & safety), underground storage tank assessments, and remediation assessments. You will be heavily involved with marketing and business development efforts, prepare reports and proposals, lead and mentor a team of environmental geologists, engineers and project managers. You will interface with clients on a daily basis, manage departmental P&L, and direct/manage the department marketing efforts. This position requires a commitment to manage the department for growth with a strong emphasis on client development. Local candidates with knowledge of the Jacksonville area and existing client contacts are strongly preferred. * Qualifications: * * 5-7 years of Environmental Engineering, Geology, or similar experience. * * Must have a PG license, or be capable of obtaining licensure within six months following date of hire. * * BS in a discipline related to environmental science. * * Strong leadership and decision-making skills. * * Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
